How it works
You shouldn't have to fill out the same form three times. The process is built so you give us your information once.
Open your secure intake link, enter your basics once, and snap photos or upload your DD-214, decision letters, and records.
We go over your service history, conditions, and goals together and fill in anything the documents didn't cover.
Your forms, statements, and supporting evidence are put together into a complete package for filing.
We help you get ready for your exam and stay on top of next steps until a decision arrives.
Military retirees
CRSC is a tax-free monthly payment for military retirees whose VA-rated disabilities are combat-related. It can restore some or all of the retired pay that is offset by VA disability compensation. You apply through your branch of service, not through VA.
General eligibility requirements:
Each condition on a CRSC application is tied to one of these categories and backed by documentation.

About
Raptor Consulting was founded by Mike Watson to give veterans a straightforward, organized way through the claims process. You get a real person who knows your case, not a call center.
We focus on doing the paperwork right the first time: complete evidence, clear statements, and forms that match your records, so you can spend less time chasing documents.
FAQ
Helpful documents include your DD-214, any VA decision letters or rating code sheets, service treatment records, VA and private medical records, and, for CRSC, your retirement orders. Don't worry if you don't have everything. Start with what you have and we'll identify what's missing.
A secondary condition is a disability caused or made worse by a condition that is already service-connected. For example, a knee condition that leads to a hip or back problem. Secondary claims usually need medical evidence that links the two.
Two common paths are a Supplemental Claim, which requires new and relevant evidence, and an appeal to the Board of Veterans' Appeals. Deadlines matter: filing within one year of the decision generally protects your effective date.
A Compensation & Pension (C&P) exam is a medical evaluation requested by VA and done by a VA or contracted examiner. It helps VA decide whether a condition is service-connected and how severe it is. Preparing helps you describe your symptoms clearly and accurately.
A nexus statement is a medical opinion from a qualified provider explaining whether a condition is at least as likely as not related to your service or to another service-connected condition.
No. You can't receive Combat-Related Special Compensation and Concurrent Retirement and Disability Pay at the same time. If you qualify for both, you'll generally be paid whichever is greater, and you can choose between them during the annual open season.
